Seventeen year old Natalie Hill, who is battling bone cancer, checked one more thing off her bucket list. It's something most parents would never allow, but Natalie's parents barely hesitated.

It's not surprise seven-year-old Nathan Mullanix won Apple Dental's "candy-buy-back" grand prize. He's given all the money to Natalie Hill, and what she might use it for is almost too fitting.

7-year-old Nathan Mullanix is giving all his candy away to win money for his friend, Natalie Hill, who has bone cancer. Nathan hopes people give him a little extra candy tonight and he hopes that other kids add to his total for Apple Dental's "candy buy-back".

In July 2010, Natalie found out she had bone cancer. Since then, she's gone through several rounds of chemotherapy.

Myrtle Point native Nichole Cooper still has strong ties to the South Coast, even though the singer now calls Nashville home. She recently released a Christmas song with an eye on helping at home.

A local girl who touched the lives of so many people through her struggle with cancer is a happy camper after a fundraising benefit in her name.
